Why families choose us

Why families choose us

Choosing a provider is a decision families think hard about. Here is what we think matters.

  • The person decides

Plans start with what someone actually wants from their day, their home and their week. Not with what is easiest to staff.

  • We answer the phone

Every inquiry gets a response within one business day, including when the answer is that we do not have capacity right now.

  • Consistent, trained people

Familiar faces matter. We train our team properly and we work hard to keep them, because turnover is felt most by the people we support.

  • Local, and staying local

We live and work in Central Texas. We know the LIDDAs, the transport, and the communities the people we support belong to.

Who we serve

Who we serve

We work with individuals, the families who love them, and the professionals who support them.

  • Adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities

People who want support to live in their own community, with as much independence as they choose and as much help as they need.

  • Families and guardians

Families looking for a provider who communicates honestly, turns up when they say they will, and treats their relative as a person rather than a placement.

  • Service coordinators and LIDDAs

Professionals who need a straight answer about capacity and a provider who follows through on what was agreed.

  • Community partners

Employers, day programs, faith groups and organizations that help make community living real rather than theoretical.

The process

How it works

Five steps from a first conversation to the start of approved support.

  1. Contact us

Call or send a message. No obligation, no cost, and no pressure to decide anything.

  2. Discuss needs

We listen to what is happening now and what would actually help. You will get honest answers, including about what we cannot do.

  3. Verify the program

We confirm program participation and what has been authorized, working with your service coordinator or LIDDA.

  4. Develop a plan

Together with the person and their team, we build support around their goals, routines and preferences.

  5. Begin approved services

Support starts, and we stay closely in touch through the settling-in period and beyond.
